Loss prevention agents round up shoplifters www.privateofficer.com


WILKES-BARRE TWP. PA. March 22 2008
A 42-year-old woman is accused of shoplifting nearly $1,000 worth of merchandise from a Wal-Mart Supercenter store on Tuesday.
Debra Spry, of Wilkes-Barre, will be charged with retail theft and false identification to law enforcement, police said. She was taken to Luzerne County Correctional Facility awaiting arraignment.
In addition to shoplifting charges, Spry also had outstanding arrest warrants through the county’s adult probation and sheriff’s departments.

A store employee was charged with shoplifting at Wal-Mart Supercenter on Wednesday morning.
Alan Saviano, 21, of Harveys Lake, will be charged with retail theft at a later date, police said. He is accused of stealing more than $2,000 worth of merchandise since January.

In an unrelated shoplifting incident, Melissa Coolbaugh, 23, of Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, will be charged with retail theft after concealing $278 worth of items at Wal-Mart on Wednesday afternoon, police said.
