Olive Bistro closed their location at TOWN Brookhaven this past Saturday. The restaurant, which opened in the mixed-use center in 2011, cited a "lost lease" as the reason for the closure. Sources in the center indicate that the restaurant had been for sale previously, but that it was not currently being marketed. The siteplan for TOWN Brookhaven on the Sembler website reflects that the 1,299 square foot Olive space #415, is "available."
"We are sad to announce that Saturday Oct 28 will be our last day @ Town Brookhaven. We lost our lease and will be moving on.. Come see us tonight or Saturday for lunch or dinner. We hope to serve you in our Midtown and Vinings locations. Uber eats will also deliver online depending on your zip code within their radius.. Thank you for your loyal support. Olive Bistro began a "sponsored" post on Facebook Monday promoting the use of delivery platforms such as UberEATS and DoorDash where Brookhaven area patrons could order the restaurant's food from one of their remaining two locations in Smyrna/Vinings or Midtown. Olive Bistro's Midtown location is in Midtown Place on Ponce de Leon Avenue across from Ponce City Market, and and its Smyrna/Vinings restaurant is in Riverview Village Shopping Center on Cobb Parkway.

TOWN Brookhaven has one of the worst track records in recent memory when it comes to restaurant success. The center, which opened on Peachtree Boulevard in Brookhaven in 2011, is designed in a way that creates severe parking shortages for most restaurants and some retailers.
Ohio-based PizzaFire, a quick-serve build-your-own pizza concept, opened earlier this year in a space previously occupied by another quick-serve pizza restaurant, treza. Treza was the original occupant of the 3,000 square foot space and opened in late 2011, but was closed by early 2014.
Local coffee shop Copper Coin opened in late 2015 in place of Baci by Cafe at Pharr, but closed this past March.
Popular Midtown pub & eatery HOBNOB opened this past July in the former SMASH Kitchen & Bar space, which originally opened as Stir Crazy. Jefe's Tacos & Tequilas opened last year in the former Noche Tequila & Tapas bar.
Other restaurant closures have included the short-lived Bonehead's (soon reopening as Tanaka Ramen), Swirll Frozen Yogurt, Slacks Hoagie Shack. Lila Boutique (located to the left of Olive Bistro) and Harken Health both closed their locations in TOWN Brookhaven earlier this summer. Harken's former space has reopened as a Emory Healthcare office, while the lila space remains vacant.
