Buckhead's Lenox Square will welcome the first East Coast brick-and-mortar location of Cousins Maine Lobster later this fall. The eatery, which claims to serve the best Maine lobster rolls, will be located in a 1,150 square foot space across from Bantam + Biddy, around the corner from True Food Kitchen.

The space that Cousins will occupy has been a number of things over the years, most recently a location of The Arches Threading Lounge. To many lifelong Atlantans, the space will be most remembered as the Delta Air Lines ticket office.
The Lenox Square restaurant will be only the second sit-down restaurant inspired by the popular food truck franchise. The eatery will serve up assorted lobster dishes during lunch and dinner including specialty menu items found only at brick-and-mortar locations.
Cousins and Maine natives Sabin Lomac and Jim Tselikis started Cousins Maine Lobster as a food truck in Los Angeles in 2012 with a mere $20,000. Later that same year, and with the success of the food truck, the cousins appeared on the hit ABC show Shark Tank and scored a $55,000 investment from real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran. On the advice of Corcoran, Cousins started to franchise and now has franchised food trucks in 14 markets with additional new markets planned. The company opened their first brick-and-mortar restaurant on Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood, California during the summer of 2015. In June the company announced plans to open in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina in the upcoming Morgan Street Food Hall.
Last year, the company surpassed $20 million in sales, making it one of Shark Tank's best success stories.

Lomac and Tselikis are expected to be on hand to celebrate the Lenox Square opening later this year. The restaurant will be owned and operated in Atlanta by Tony Harrison, local franchise owner and operator of two successful Cousins Maine Lobster Atlanta food trucks.
